Prompt #3

Few things in life are better than a good friend. There are three characteristics I think are key in a best friend: trustworthiness, humor, and accountability.  A person cannot be considered a friend if you can’t trust them with your secrets. You expect a friend to listen to your opinion, and not judge you for it. If a person can make me laugh, they automatically have an upper hand in whether they’ll be my friend. Sometimes life can be rough, but if you have a friend that can make you laugh, it is a whole lot easier. Accountability is necessary in a friend. You expect a true friend to be there for you through thick and thin. If a friend isn't there for you when you need them most, how can you consider them a friend? No friend is perfect, but three important qualities of a good one are: trustworthiness, humor, and accountability.
